I have one chart running that I manually trade off of. I have a second chart that just runs a strategy. The strategy chart uses the same account -sim101 but a totally different time interval. The problem is when trading on the 1st chart, the manual trade chart, when I use the Close button to close a trade, the strategy running in the other chart is stopped. In the Strategy tab, the Start/Stop has been set to Start and the Strategy name is no longer in green.
As far As I can determine, the Close button on the Chart Trader is the only button that when clicked on will close a strategy running in another window. Also, running an ATM strategy from the Chart Trader has no effect on a strategy running in another window. Only the Close button will stop a strategy running in another window.
Is this the correct operating procedure for NT?
