Ending Strategy Trigger

Was testing my strategy with the short ES session today.. Looking for some ideas for an "event" I could use to trigger on, to end /stop my Strategy.. Any ideas?

You would need to setup time / date filters with holidays / holiday hrs and then create for example a boolean condition out of this which you include in the entry conditions.

To exit earlier on those days, you would need to setup separate ones according to the end times needed for those 'special' days.

Thinking more of a keep-alive function.. If I don't see any ticks in xxx minutes but Seems like everything is driven by ticks, a catch 22,,
Like right now,, connection is good, but no new real time data.. anything in the bag of tricks?

As an idea you could for example access the tickcount and count then how many ticks you receive and work from there - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...6/TickCount.ht
