Long and Short entries within the same strategy

Is it possible to to program a strategy that generates separate long and short entries within the same strategy? Can anyone provide a simple example?

However you want to make sure not to 'run into' the internal order handling rules mentioned here -

For our next release, NinjaTrader 7, we'll also offer a new completely unmanaged order submission mode for NinjaScript strategies, thus disabling the above handling rules to provide even more flexibility.
