The entry and profit target works. The exitshortstop doesn't. SSRL is a private double. Here is how SSRL is derived:-

I've attached the chart just as an example.
The yellow line is the SSRL. I could only have it extend backwards due to my poor programming skills.

The short was entered and should have triggered approximately 3 hours later but instead it continued and exited on close(chart a). Not sure why.

Kay, for strategies you want to work with TraceOrders = true in the Initialize() to debug order behavior -

I would suggest you check into those outputs, as the ExitShortStop may just expire unfilled at the end of the bar you submitted it at (default behavior in NT). You would either need to resubmit then each bar, or use the extended overload offering the liveUntilCancelled parameter.

I tried the traceorder before i wrote for help. There were zero messages in the output and log window.

If you are suggesting that my exit stop is expiring at the end of the bar, how do I resubmit after each bar?

Kay, please recheck the trace output closely, you likely run into the the Internal Order Handling Rules here (http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...verview36.html, bottom section) as you have a SetProfitTarget working and try placing an additional Exit() order.

Kay, correct this confirms you run into the handling rules, the Exit() is ignored as you already have another Set() method working - have you tried working with SetStopLoss instead?
