This new strategy in strategy section has some kind of error.i try to import but got a message import failed because ninja script files in the imported ninja script archieve files has programming error.those errors must be resolved before import.
developer or any body else,,please fix the error.

Hello,

You will need to fix it, remove the bad files at your own risk, or re-install NT.

Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies- not just one.

• Open NinjaTrader
• From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
• Select an indicator and double click on it.
• A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
• At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations.
• From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it.

Let me know if this does the trick for you.

Thanks,i will try this but may be need to check all indicators.i had this problem b4 when i got a new version of an indicator and i have to remove
the old one b4 i import the new.

That particular strategy use a commercial indicator as base, so you need to have it to use/compile the strategy.

but,how can we compile it.ninja trader did not accept this.if ninja is not able to open it,we can not compile it.or if u guide some thing,,,may be helpful.

i check all my indicators,,,all fine.i d/l ninja on a new computer and try to import but same problem.we might need that indicator which is base of this strategy.

Can you please post a screenshot of errors you see listed in the NinjaScript editor as you attempt to compile all by pressing F5?

bertrand,i m not developing this strategy,it is already posted by micro trend guy,,,the problem is ,,when try to import in ninja,,it fails and leave the message ,,,check my first post plz.import fail because in ninja script files in imported script file has programming error.....must remove b4 import.

i believe ,we can only modify or edit,or compile indicator/strategy after it imported into ninja.

You would also see if your current files (before your import) have programming issues that need to be addressed first - if you compile all present files you would see the offending indicator / code lines being listed at the bottom of the NinjaScript editor.

Thanks bertrand,if u mean all the indicators and stratagies i have already in my ninja plat form,,,i check yesterday many of them but found nothing.then i d/load ninja on an other computer never used b4 for ninja and got the same problem when i try to import this indicator.i have tried to edit once an other indicator and when i was doing wrong,got error message immediatly but that indicator was already in the ninja files.i had same kind problem b4 when a new version of an indicator released.in that case,i have to remove the older one and then import new and here,the base indicator is VT13(I THINK)but i do not have this in my indicators.

Ok, so you can now compile welll all currently present scripts?

Then you import the 3rd party file and are notified of issues present?

Then you would need to contact them to send you a new file export.

Just keep in mind all files need to compile well at all times, as we compile them in one assembly file.

Bertrand, could this be my problem? One bad indicator fouling up the assembly?

dear gunsnmoney,i talk about this problem with the guy @micro trend and find out that base of this strategy is an other indicator VT13,which we need to install b4 use of this strategy.
