I not sure about data

Hello All,

I have been trading my system live for a month and doing well as I planned similiar to months before with no slippage. For my strategy I used 4 month backtested live 2 min data receive from Zenfire .
I purchased Historical Data from a diferent vender today and ran the test back 9 more months and did poorly all months pryier. Well, what do you think? the market changed or the data is bad... I'm not sure and need some help.

tradmech, if you retest on the same 4 months from the newly purchased data are the results roughly inline with your expectations? Then likely different market dynamics prior to this...

Is there a way to backtest the full year

Thanks for the info, Is there a way to backtest the full year, or only by contract dates like I have been doing? (TF)

You could backtest the full year, but first you would need to create a continuous contract with your individual contracts using our 'Merge' feature -
