submitting stop loss to reside at broker not computer

Last night Microsoft pushed an update to my computer then instituted a reboot. I was in the middle of a trade. It would have been a very nice trade. Instead it was a sizable loss.

How can I submit a stop-loss order that resides at the broker (Gain) when the position is opened? I don't want to submit a specific profit target because the price move may extend for a few hours. I want to exit once my exit criteria are met, but in case of a power loss or Micrsoft intervention, I was my stop-loss to reside at the broker for safety.

How can this be done?

Thank you for your post.

According to this post, "Orders in a state "Accepted" or "Working" are on GAIN Capital/Forex.com servers."

You can use ATM strategies to submit a stop loss order only(no profit target) upon entering a position.

Thanks, Ryan. Can you program the ATM strategy like that from within another custom-developed strategy? I am running an autotrading strategy I developed. Which Ninjascript refernces can I use to program those ATM functions?
