This area has been reworked in version 7. With version 6.5 the order of added series is important (secondary should be smaller than the primary). When you're using tick and range charts, you can't ensure that will always be the case. Please try a similar strategy with version 7 and let us know if you see improvement in this area.

Thanks for your response, Ryan. Since I can't make the migration (the majority of my indicators aren't compatible with NT7 and the last thing I have time for right now is plowing through them trying to make them fit), is it safe to say that I can't achieve in 6.5 what I'm looking to do?

In version 6.5 you would have to work alongside the sample provided - Larger time frames primary and smaller time frames secondary. Unfortunately when using tick and range charts, the size of the bar is not always clear. You may be able to adapt this to version 6.5, but would require trial and error to evaluate the sequence of OnBarUpdate calls.Ryan M.NinjaTrader Customer Service
