Can I do some Maths. in condition builder?

e.g. 5 times of RSI > 3 times of RSI 1 bars ago

MACD divided by 2 > Ave

Unfortunately this is not possible, you would need to code an indicator doing the math and then call the result in the wizard to act on it.

          1. In condition builder: price data group, what is "typical" ?

          2. If I want to specify average price of a bar, is it use "median" ?

          3. How to use "slope"?

            1. Typical price is High, Low and Close divided by 3.

            2. Correct, this is the bars midpoint.

            3. For using Slope you would need to select which dataseries this is run on and which start / end bars are compared to calculate it - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...eV6/Slope.html

Then compare the result to a numerical value / threshhold of your liking to generate actions on this.

I would like to put MACD, Ave and Diff all on Panel 1, but the scale of market price and MACD have big differences that made the lines not visible.

                Any solution to this? Thx!

jp2890, unfortunately not for NT 6.5 as they all would share the same scale, however NT7 we have introduced overlay scaling as well. You can could download NT7's public beta from here -

In a 1 min chart, a technical indicator, say MACD, will appear only after a complete minute is passed. Can the indicator be shown instantly?

This will depend on the indicator's CalculateOnBarClose setting JP - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...BarClose1.html

                          lenco12,

                          Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

You can overlay MACD on panel 1, using version 7 of the platform.

Right Click > indicators > Select applied MACD > Set Scale Justification to Overlay

How to write a strategy with a single line indicator with three colours, e.g. ADXVMA?

You would either need to access each Plot value directly - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ndicators.html

or work with the conditions in the strategy that lead to the indicator coloring.
