Disable/reset SetProfitTarget ?

Recently I found out that once SetProfitTarget was called from within a strategy the SetProfitTarget function should be reset as soon as the strategy is flat again.

Now: How do I reset setProfitTarget to the state of " never used" ?

Can I call SetProfitTarget(0)? to reset or will this close my position as soon as I have 0 profit reached (=immediately).

I could do SetProfitTarget(high value or high percentage), but then I loose the scaling of my chart because the ProfitTarget will be visibile on the charts. I don' t want this.

Any suggestion?

Andreas, either use the workaround you posted (set very high, low) or work with the Exit() methods directly. NinjaTrader 7 will allow you to exclude those orders from the AutoScale range and thus prevent 'scrunching' of charts.
