Order Sending Delay...?

This might be a stupid question, but I don't seem to be able to figure it out.

1. I have a strategy where if a moving average changes direction (up/down), then an order is supposed to be placed immediately -- the order should go off at the open of the next bar.

2. It isn't happening -- it waits until the close -- and I can't determine why.

Any ideas...?

AynRandFan (nice nic btw) - is this for realtime use or backtesting? In realtime you can set CalculateOnBarClose to false, so signals are updated on each incoming tick - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...BarClose1.html
