    Order Latency

    Do anyone have a "feel" for the number of ticks that might transact from the time a no-caveat order like

    EnterLong();

    is placed from NT (into say Zenfire) and the point where it becomes placed? I'm looking for a number on order of say:

    5 ticks or
    20 ticks or
    50 ticks or
    100 ticks.

    I know it depends on market conditions and the number is diffrent from an open market to an after hours one. I'm specifically interested in FDAX which tends to trade at a good clip and usually doesn't experience the after market trading slump like say ES does.

    If anyone has that kind of data, I'd appreciate a response.

    Thanks,

    Larry

    We would not have this information. The greatest variable is your own internet and the latency you get between your computer and Zen's servers.
