Backtest

Hello world,

Is it possible to back test strategy back to 2008? I notice there is a 3 months limit going backward but are there any alternative way(s) to get historical data?

Ron,

You will only be able to backtest to the extent of the historical data you have. If you have more data you can backtest more, otherwise you cannot. Please consult with your data provider if they can offer you any more data. Otherwise you will have to find data sources elsewhere that you can import through the Import data utiility.
