time value

Hi
I need to get the price value at a specific time today and store the difference between that value and current price into the following day but before the time when i will need the new time value for the second day . how do i get this done?

Hi trader413, have you seen the reference sample titled Getting indicator values from a specified time? The same idea would apply to get the price value for a specified time.

I not sure that will work because I am using volume bars.

It will work for volume bars. GetBar() will return the bar number of the first bar that occurs after the time you specify (if the exact bar time does not exist). So, if you specify 9:30:00AM but there is only a 9:30:03 bar, that :03 bar number would be returned.
