    strategy tab in control center

may have reported this months ago....anyway I hope that NT7 solves the problem:

when running a strategy and long 1 lot trailing 40 tick stop
and also long 1 lot manually in charttrader ..same trail
the trailing lots overlap can therefore you can not take off just one lot...i.e. you can not move/tighten just one stop
my workaround for this is the strategy tab wherein you can stop either of the 2 strategies seaparetly..i.e. either the strat using atmcreate which call an ATM or my manual ATM

problem: once stopped this way, realized profit does not update....just shows zero

another issue which I did report to the wish list is the strategy tab has no time column in the grid so you can not sort my time to tell one strat from the other

    thanks.....looking forward to 7

Thanks for the suggestions ATIUser, I'll forward them, the realized PnL would be 0 for a manually cancelled ATM.

Did you try changing the ATM strategy selection mode on ChartTrader?

if you mean use a different ATM/trailing stop for the manual trade....yes I have in the past

my preference would be that NT keep the stops separate/accessible.....plus show the Realized for a manually canceled ATM....plus have a time column

      thanks

No, I meant changing the ATM strategy selection mode to 'Display Selected ATM only' for separation - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ategyMode.html

          can not use that

need to use "keep...." so I can hedge in same cash account...i.e. long and short ATMs at same time

or are you saying I could have a second charttrader open with "display..." in order to separately view and manage a single stop..WITHOUT messing up my hedge?

Correct ATI user, this was my idea.

                excellent

see attached...top charttrader set at "keep exisit..."... bottom charttrader set at "display..."

top chart shows 2 lots long and trailing stops are stacked
bottom chart shows only the 1 lot displayed in the dropdown window (Active ATM Strategy 1)

gives individual control over stacked lots...

                thanks
