Setting SessionBegins and SessionEnd via NinjaScript?

Hello,

is it possible to set the values for "Session Begins" and "Session Ends" in the Strategy Code? I´d need it for the "Bars.SessionEnd" Property. How can I do that? In the Help I was´nt able to find an example.

Joerg, unfortunately this is not supported - in NinjaTrader 7 we'll introduce a convenient session manager then - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html

Hi,
In Initialize() put
SessionBegin = DateTime.Parse("08:30");
SessionEnd = DateTime.Parse("15:15");

If you want exclude Weekend add ExcludeWeekend = true.
And so on...

Please be forewarned that:
a) changing SessionBegin/End programmtically is not supported and in fact may exhibit unexpected results
b) session handling with NT7 will change and thus break sample code below
