Bool Flags??

Hello, I am trying to implement a few strategies that would take one entry signal per day and exit @ the close, or be stopped out before hand. In the case in which these strategies are stopped out, I would like it to stop trading for the day ie 1 entry only. I like many are masters of the strategy analyzer but are not that good at coding. I have seen others all but beg for someone @ NT to explain, possibly in strategy analyzer, how to enter in the first signal of the day and exclude the rest, simple enough???..Thanks

Hey Bertrand, thanks for the link. I can get that to work and I assume you would use that to live trade in the manner that I expressed. I was actually looking for a way to backtest this entry. Correct me if I am wrong but coding it in this manner will only trade once...period, unless you adjust manually. Does this mean you cannot backtest a single entry strategy? thanks

rightcoast, not if you reset the bool flag / user variable like indicated in the post. The concept is to reset it to reset it each day to allow entries again, then block trading as the day progresses.
