Backtest limit order entry

Hi

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I've searched the forums, but cant find the answer I'm looking for. I'm running a strategy test and set a bunch of conditions and want to enter short on limit 4 pips above the close of the last bar. However when i select to enter on limit the only option is price implying it will enter at a specific price. Using the wizard is there any way to test limit order entries which are X pips away from the last bar's close?

Dave,

You will just need to type in the numeric value of the price for that 4 pip evaluation.

Close[0] + 4 * TickSize

Where do I type that?

I dont have any coding knowledge so am relying on the strategy wizard.

Under do the following.
I click add
Enter short position by limit order.
The options in the boxes are:
Quantity
Limit Price
Signal name

Do I insert your suggested line there in the limit price box? Doesnt seem right.

Is there a way of doing this through the wizard or do I have to use the code?

In the Limit box select the ... button on the side and select the Price category's close. Then in the offset parameter type in 4.
