If a trade was made it will always show up in the Output Window with TraceOrders = true. Please restart your NT and try again. If such problems persist you may need to reinstall your NT. This is the first time anyone has said such behavior.

TraceOrders did display in the output window until I added the script you suggested in post #2.

When the trades stopped being displayed on the chart, Traceorders no longer displayed in Output display.

As stated, behavior you are describing is not consistent with anyone elses experiences and as such you may need to reinstall.

If you have trades showing on the chart you will always get TraceOrders output. You are saying you see trades on the chart correlated to the strategy's historical trades and no TraceOrders output. This should never happen regardless of what you do with IExecutions.

If you are now saying a different behavior than what you stated in post 15 please clarify exactly what you see and under which scenario you see it. In post 15 you said trades show, but no TraceOrders.

I misspoke, TraceOrders always print in display output whenever trades are displayed on the chart.

When IExecutions are configured, I do not have any TraceOrders in the output screen. I do not have any trades displayed on the chart.

Then that means your IOrder is not null which is why it does not enter your if-statements to make trades. I suggest you place a Print() for your entry order to see what it is at the top of the OnBarUpdate().
