Partial Fills

Hi

quick question ...

if I place a limit order with an associated profit target and stop loss (via SetStopLoss/setProfitTarget) and it gets partially filled will the stop and limit orders get placed for the partial fill and then when the remainder of the limit order is filled place the stop/target orders for the remainder ?

Hi Paul, yes those will be placed on incoming executions (also partial) so the position is protected, you can decide if the original order is amended or a new set of orders is generated in your 'Order Handling' settings in the 'Strategies tab' - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...tegiesTab.html
