Double MA in a strategy

Hi

I am trying to use the double MA multi couloured v1.4 indicator from your download section in a strategy. I have tried using the wizard to set conditions, but keep getting an error when I finish.

specifically it is errors cs0119 'NinjaTrader.Indicator.MAV' is a 'type', which is not valid in the given context

and cs0103 The name 'MAType" does not exist in the current context

what am I doing wrong?

Hi Glenn, welcome to the NinjaTrader support forums! Unfortunately the DoubleMA indicator was not developed to be used directly in the wizard, you can check out my attached zip for an idea how to realize for example a double MA trade entry with the EMA.

Just an update,

I released a newer version of DoubleMA with more moving averages and a Signal dataseries (0 neutral, -1 short, 1 long).

I also added DMV dataseries to always publish last closing price regardless of direction, a shortcoming of original version it would seem.
