    How to configure indicator colors in a strategy

    I add several indicators to my strategy but they're all plotted in Orange. How can I change the colors??

      In the protected override void Initialize()
      I use the following:

      Add(StrategyPlot(3));
      StrategyPlot(3).Plots[0].Pen.Color = Color.CornflowerBlue;
      StrategyPlot(3).Plots[0].Pen.Width = midLineWidth;
      StrategyPlot(3).Plots[0].Pen.DashStyle = DashStyle.Solid;
      StrategyPlot(3).AutoScale = false;
      StrategyPlot(3).PaintPriceMarkers = false;
      StrategyPlot(3).PanelUI = 1;

      Hopefully NT 7 will make this obsolete.

        I have found that when applying a strategy the plots are the base color of orange for some reason too but these are not plotted by the strategy but by a called indicator. Try opening your indicator settings and clicking ok to refresh the indicators (I forget but you may have to select and indicator as if to change parameters) and your plots should change to the colors you have them coded to be.

          TAJTrades,

          Why would you want to make them obsolete? The strategy calls an indicator. The indicator has default values. As far as the strategy is concerned, the indicator is called with default values. If those values are orange plots then you will have orange plots. If you do not like the default values you can change the properties as outlined in the tip I posted earlier.

            Sorry Josh, I was referring to NT7 ability to do multi time frame charting without having to use the strategy plot. Only real complaint I have about NT is the knucklehead writing my code (who shall remain nameless, LOL, initials are ME).

              NT7 will allow for multi-series charting.
