It's like the difference between imperative and functional programming. You can only tell your strategy at what point to start running on... your strategy ALWAYS starts with a 'flat' view of positions. If you need your strategy to see a long "virtual" position, you have to setup in such a way that a new execution of the strategy does an EnterLong() during a historical bar.
