strategy stops when ATI order executed

Hi,

I had a strategy running. It didn't place orders; all it did was write the price out to a file on every tick. Problem is, when an ATI order (received from another program) was executed, it stopped running.

Any idea why this happened?

Hi andrewbee - did you get any error in the Log tab of the Control Center?

It seems the other program does a 'flatten everything' command. I guess this also stops strategies? Is there a way to exit all positions and cancel all orders without stopping strategies?

Yes, just replace the 'Flatten Everything' with the needed individual commands like ClosePosition and CloseStrategy - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...arameters.html
