how to place a stop order thats active outside the trading session

hello

for my e-mini s&p strategy (chart set to 8 am till 4.15 pm)
i would like the strategy to place a stop order so when the market goes above my stop price I am getting stopped out on overnight short trades.

whats the command to do this?

see attached screenshot neighter setstoploss nor exitshortstop is working, only the red dot is drawn at the stop price but no orders are placed (at least on backtesting, live i have not tested it yet)

any help is welcome

Hi tradereight, I would suggest setting your chart to 24 hrs to include the overnight session and then limit the trading of your system with time filters as outlined here - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3226

Also, the ExitShortStop will expire at the end of the bar if not resubmitted, you can use the liveUntilCancelled for this - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ShortStop.html
