Max Position Profit...

Is there a function or a way in ninja trader to find out what this is? For example... say I enter a trade on the ES and hold it for a certain period of time... during that time I reach a position of being 8 points in profit, but rather than getting out my system holds it and I land up getting only 5 points....

is there a way in ninja trader to find out for each trade I make, what would have been the potential max profit in that trade?

Hello,

Try going to the Account Performance tab and click on the Graphs tab. From here use the Entry and Exit Efficiency graphs in the drop down. This link may help:

Quick question about the exit efficency...

Is there a way to display what the maximum number of points I could have made vs the number of points I made? Right now I see percents: ie 65.23%

Unfortunately efficiency is only displayed in percents. Thank you for the suggestion. I have added it to our list of future considerations.

is it atleast possible to find out the values used in the percentage calculations? (other than scrolling through the charts?)

Have you looked at the MAE (max adverse excusion) / MFE (max favorable excursion) values generated?
