Backtesting speed

I've done something that has really affected the speed at which NT responds. After I've run a back test and I want to change some of the parms and do another back test when I right click and select back test there is a significant amount of time before the window comes up with the strategy parameters.

It takes longer for this window to come up and allow me to change some of the strategy options than it does to actually run the strategy.

What have I done to make this happen? (I tried reinstalling and it's the same)

Hello Phyre,

If you reduce the time range of the first backtest, does the parameter window load faster the second backtest?

What happens if you open up two Strategy Analyzer windows and backtest in seperate windows?

Are you sure the first backtest has finished loading before initiating the second backtest?
