Hello
I am creating a simple strategy.

buy at 00 levels and 50 levels,

but when i backtest it, most of the time price is 10 , 20 points away from 00 levels.

for example, its suppose to buy at 1.4400, but it opens trade at 1.4430
or if it was suppose to buy at 1.4550 then it buys at 1.4558

how can i solve this?

Hello,

The backtest has a built in algorithm that tries to simulate real trading which has slippage involved. This is probably what you are seeing, and it probably more realistic.

Also, backtesting is done using OHLC data only, so the likelihood of a bar being right on your desired price is pretty low.

I am runnin this on simulation demo account, and it just doesnt open any trades

all i want to do is open buy trades every 00 and 50 levels.
