It doesn't hurt to get a clean set ATI user.

      I agree....

are you suggesting RepairDB, ResetDB or Reload Historical Data?

        Try "Reload Historical Data".

              ATI user,

I'm not sure what your output is printing, but if you are able to find a relatively consistent offset in your syncing try just manually syncing it. Change your clock time to match the timestamps you are getting in.

this is the best results so far...

I tried to offset my PC clock from sync time by a second....the result was 6 seconds offset

since this was way off, I did another sync and have only had one print so far...looks good

I am wondering if I just got lucky re the time I did the sync or if it needs to be way out of sync to get a good sync?

Another thought is that if I am doing sync with a server in Pacific Time and I am in Eastern, the internet delay might be throwing my sync off by a fraction of a second...which results in the intermittent 1 sec error

I might be helpful to sync to the same server ...or at least a server in the same time zone at NT...to get the greatest accuracy re internet delay

could you please provide the server address that NT uses to do the time stamps?

                thanks

                  ATI user,

NinjaTrader does not timestamp anything at a central location. Depending on your data feed your data is timestamped either by your PC clock or by your data provider. I believe you are on Zen-Fire. Zen-Fire timestamps things for you beforehand so the sync is between your PC clock and the timestamps Zen places on their data.

                    yes I am on zenfire

do you know where they are located? i.e. timezone?

                    thanks for all the help

seems to be manageable now...in the last 15 mins only had prints on approx 30 ticks..all from the 5 second chart....
