Strategy on the Weekend

Hi,

I'm running a strategy with Gain that I would like to hold positions over the weekend. It looks like the gain connection is down over the weekend. Will NT be able to pick up where it left off on Sunday evening? I also see that NT is constantly attempting to reconnect. Is it possible to stop NT from trying to reconnect over the weekend, but reconnect on Sunday?

If you submitted the order as GTC it should survive the weekend. You will want to check with GAIN to see if your order still active during the weekend to be sure though.

As far as picking up from where it left off, it will be able to continue as long as you never stop your strategy. Otherwise, it will need to recalculate its strategy position which is not guaranteed to be the same as it was generated when running in real-time. Then you need to manually sync your account position with your strategy position for it to be able to continue. For disconnecting and reconnecting at a stated time, this is unfortunately not possible.
