Using ATMStrategyCreate() et al, in script

I must not be seeing things right. I understand that I can use ATMStrategyCreate() in script, but it cannot be used on Historic data (i.e. cannot be backtested). It also cannot be used C# NinjaScript representing an Iindicator, as it gets a compiler error. It can only be used in script for a Strategy.

That's fine. So where can I run a Strategy script that does not apply to Historic data? When I use Strategy Analyzer, the options are Backtest, Optimize and WalkForward. I have no WalkForward parameters set up. But all of these seem to be using Historic data anyway.

So ... What am I missing?

    Thanks,

    Brian1

    Brian1,

You run it in real-time on a chart or from the strategies tab in the Control Center. Please see these links: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...romAChart.html

Wow Josh. Thanks a lot. I never really noticed that. It was always greyed out because I had Chart Trader on all the time.

I'll give it a whirl. Thanks again.
