Adding new instrument/bar to strategy

Hi,

I have a simple question - if I add a particular bar/instrument to a strategy twice, will it actually get added twice (duplicate), or will it still only get added once?

I am adding some symbols in a loop and there is a risk that some symbols may be duplicated. Just wondering what the effect is in this situation.

There will be one instance of the instrument or more precisely one instance of the bar series added.
