What is the default trailing stop parameters in strategy wizard?

What is the default trailing stop parameters in strategy wizard?

By that I mean the frequency and profit trigger?

the frequency is 1 and profit trigger is how many ticks the stop loss is?

    Ninja B,

Not sure I follow. There is no "default". It is set to whatever you want. You decide what you want the trailing stop to start at and it will follow this on every tick.

I'm talking about the strategy wizard. For example I set the trailing stop to 30 ticks. Say the strategy is $150 positive. for every tick after that, what happens? Because you can set the frequency from the static dom, but not the wizard. I suck with exits so I'm thinking of just using a trailing stop for every entry condition.

        Ninja B,

The ATM style of exiting is not available from a NinjaScript unless you specifically program it. This is not possible just from the Stops & Targets page of the NinjaScript Strategy Wizard.

The trailing stop used from there is just a tick by tick follow. Price goes up 1 tick, stop goes up 1 tick. Price goes down 1 tick, stop stays level.

Sorry, just to be sure I undersatyand, what does it mean "from there", from the wizard's Stops & Targets page?

Does anyone have an example how to tighten the trailing stop when a target profit is reached, using the Wizard or the code generated by it?

            Thx,
            Dan

"From there" means from the Wizard's Stops & Targets page.

You can see this reference for an idea of how to modify stop orders: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3222
