First, to clarify, you're posting this question on the NinjaTrader 7 Strategy development page.
Are you intending to post it on the NinjaTrader 8 strategy development page?
Also, are you manually placing orders using an order entry button or are you running a strategy and you would like to design a stop loss for your strategy orders?



If you're entering your orders manually, you can create an ATm strategy that will automatically enter a stop loss.

If you're using the strategy builder, you have the option to enter a StopLoss or Profit Target directly from the main builder screen.

If you're developing a script manually and want to create a stop loss order, you can use the SetStopLoss() method to attach a stop loss to your entry order.

I trade with NT 7 and I never build an ATM strategy. I place my orders manually.
