    Jurik tools for NT

Is anyone currently running any of the Jurik tools for NT in full automation? Any comments appreciated in advance.

Yes, I have been thinking of trying the Jurik stuff in NT Strategies, but don't realy want to pay for them without knowing that they at least work in strats bug free. I mailed Jurik about this but got no reply.

They work as any other indicator does in a strategy.

            Jurik

I have been running Jurik tools in real time fully automated for three months in a simple strat built in NT wizard. Works perfectly. As Elliott Wave notes, Jurik runs like any of the other indicators.

Thanks Alfie and Elliot Wave, its so helpful to know that it integrates properly with NT. I'm sure that what they are selling us is a bit of signal processing, the MA probably a Bessel or Butterworth filter. I have a background in electronics, so I understand the principles but unfortunately my programing skills don't go far enough to program these things.
So I will pay the money!

For NinjaTrader you can't buy them individually like some other platforms. You can only lease them as a package.

If you wanted to 'buy' them, the only route would be to license the .DLL and code them all for NT yourself.

There are open-code clones available on the MetaTrader website which you could have converted to C#, but they are only approximations and are significantly more taxing when it comes to computer resources.

Personally I find the JurikJMA the most versatile, particularly as a proxy for price which can improve the accuracy of any other indicator without too much added lag. When NT7 finally comes out with indicator on indicator this will be even more useful.

I also really like the RSX, but don't use many of the others. I'd really like to try the CFB (Jurik version of ADX) but its not part of the UT package and not officially available for NT. The only way to get it would be to code from the .DLL.

                  Hope that helps.

                    Elliott,

Jurik's website, best I can tell anyway, says that the UT package (one for Ninja) is not Vista compatible. Are you running it on Vista successfully?

                        Hmm. lol!

Seven is going to be at RC1 in less than two weeks, and likely will be gold before the holidays. It will adopt all the Vista device drivers, etc, so I hope he updates soon.

I was on the order page and about to press submit when I noticed it!

so if i want to run rsx, i have to get the package?

Is the version of RSX on MT4 same as the one on NT?

The answer to your first question is yes.
The answer to your second question is no. Its very close, but not exact. They cross above/below the 50 line on the same bar, but the 'official' JurikUT version accelerates into overbought/oversold territory more quickly.
