Add third party data series

Hello , I´ve a thrid party data series that I´d like to add as additional data series in the strategy builder but I cant find it listed there. How can I add it to select ?

I see this is posted in the NinjaTrader 7 section of the forums.

To confirm, this inquiry is in relation to NinjaTrader 7, is this correct?

Unfortunately, custom bar types are not fully supported in NinjaTrader 7. Calling a custom bar type from a script in NinjaTrader 7 is also not supported.


In NinjaTrader 8, the Strategy Builder is not capable of adding custom barTypes and is only able to add series with basic system bar types. (This does not include renko, line break, point and figure, or volumetric)

You would need to unlock the script and code by hand.

3. You can specify optional BarsPeriod values (such as Value2) of a custom BarsType in the BarsPeriod object initializer. For example: AddDataSeries(new BarsPeriod() { BarsPeriodType = (BarsPeriodType)14, Value = 10, Value2 = 20 });"
