I am trying to create a strategy that enters a short position when price rises up to touch a specified ema (and then reverses for profit or continues to stop), An example would be: When the 5 ema is below the 12 ema and price (which is below the 12 ema) rises up and touches the 12ema, enter short
I have found plenty of info on ema crosovers entries, but nothing for a price touch only. I tried to code it with the wizard / condition builder as price == specified ema then enter short but no luck. Seems like it would be simple. I have watched the Overviews and videos but it's not sinking in. Appreciate any help to point me in the right direction
