Computer Performace Question

Which option would give better performance with the way NT has been designed when creating a strategy:

1: Have the strategy call the indicator to return values
2: Write the indicator logic inside the strategy and make no calls to an Indicator.

I do not need to see the Indicator Plots on a chart so I can go with either option. I most interested in maximizing computer efficiency as one of my indicators is a complete computer resource hogs. Or does it even matter.

Writing your indicator logic in your strategy would be more efficient however, likely negligible in terms of performance.
