Order Event Warning

Hello, I'm running my script live, and besides the odd ADX value anomaly, I find the NT platform very good.

I am trying to sort out loose ends on my strategy and I am finding this warning on my log everytime an order is placed….


Order Event Warning:Attribute ‘Outside Regular Trading Hours’ is ignored based on order type and destination . PlaceOrder is now being processed 2109

All my orders are placed without problem and all executions are perfect, should I be concered with this, and is there a way of getting rid of this?

I suggest you use TraceOrders = true and isolate out which order is being submitted outside of trading hours. From there you will need to evaluate the risk yourself. It may or may not be a problem if this was your order trying to close a position.

Thanks Josh I'll try that

One thought, I’m in HK and I am trading UK markets, I am using local time which is +8GMT, so when I load up a strategy my session times are 16.00 to 05.00

Could this cause the warning I get?

It generally is not a problem. You will just have to watch your orders and see which is causing the error and at what time.
