Is there a transaction log?

Hi,

I've coded my own log that shows: Gross Loss/Profit, Net Profit/Loss, Commission. Daily Gross Profit/Loss, Daily Net Profit/Loss, Stategy Gross Loss/Profit, Strategy Net Profit, and Realized Net PnL.

I do these using OnPositionUpdate and just not getting it right.

Is there a NinjaTrader equivalent log for these?

In Documents -> NinjaTrader 8 there are folders "log" and "trace" that have order activities in them - you should take a look at those files and see if they have what you need. You also could create your own log easily by just appending a text file when the events you are interested in occur.

Thanks for your post.

You could consider using the Trade Performance window (New > Trade Performance) to generate a performance report and view the Analysis Display to see values such as Gross Loss/Profit, Net Profit, Commission, Cumulative Net Profit, and other values.

To see a specific strategy's performance, you could generate a Strategy Performance report by right-clicking on the strategy in the Strategies tab of the Control Center and selecting 'Strategy performance'.
