To Josh, Volume color / VOL?

I noticed that with both the standard indicator "VOL" or with this custom indicator that you have on share "Volume Color" the current bar does not show up untill the minute (on the 1 minute chart) is complete. So the volume bar does not go up as the volume accumulates in the bar. That also mean that volume based strategies that are set to trigger intrabar (end of the bar = false) will not be triggered untill the end of the bar even the conditions may be met halfway in the minute.

Is there a way to change taht so the intrabar volume would update in real time? Thanks.

You will need to set Calculate On Bar Close to false when you load up the indicator.

Can it be changed permanently? I don't see a "calculate on bar close" condition in the text of the code.

Unfortunately not. You could custom code an indicator as a variation (with having CalculateOnBarClose=false) of the VOL indicator though.
