It seems to take 2 bars to Exit a position and then enter in opposite direction

    CalculateOn BarClose = true.

I have a Short Position that has not met it's profit target or it's stop loss.
I now have a new setup bar that tells me to go long.

I issue the ExitShort() command to close out my short position. I then build and issue my EnterLongStopLimit() command. All done at the close of the current bar.

The ExitShort() is executed on the current bar but the EnterLongStopLimit() does not show up in the Orders window till the next bar.

It appears that just using EnterLongStopLimit() will not automatically close the short position. The EnterLongStopLimit() is ignored because I have an open short position.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You can enter and exit on the same bar using, for example, EnterLong() and ExitLong(); however you can be, for example, Short then call EnterLong() and it will automatically close out the short order and take you long. For an example of this please go to Tools>Edit>Strategy>select SampleMACrossOver>OK.
