Histogram trading strategy

I am having trouble using the values plotted on a histrogram indicator to initiate buy/sell orders. The idea is that I’d compare if those values were less or greater then several bars back to signal opening a trade.

Just to verify, you have posted in the NinjaTrader 7 strategy forum so your questions are based on Ninjatrader7.

In order to assist you will need to reveal a lot more about what you are trying to do with your code to explain the specifics of the trouble, you are having.

Perhaps you might start by providing a screenshot to show on a chart what you are trying to do and post the section of code you are having concerns with.

If you are using the Strategy wizard, then post screenshots of the sets you have.
