Percent Trailing Target

Hi,

I am looking for a logic for Percent Trailing Target.
Let's say my Floor Amount is $1000 and my percent trailing is 95%.
As soon as my profit hits $1000, the percent trailing kicks in that if my current profit goes down below $950 ($1000*95%), I get out. But if my current profit is going up, it keeps on calucating my trailing stop at 95% of my current profit so I can lock my Target profit.

The link is dead, but I have updated the post with a valid link to the thread that I believe Ben was referring to.

As this post was made in 2008, many things have changed with NinjaTrader and it may be more worthwhile to open a new thread to get accurate information for NinjaTrader 7 or NinjaTrader 8.

We have examples for modifying the stop loss in NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8, where you could move the stop loss to a calculated level based off of your own logic.
