CurrentBar on Tick Charts with Session begin

From my observation CurrentBar Property is not always starting from 0.

Example:

- TimeFrame 89 Ticks
- "Session begins" is set to 6:00

The first time OnBarUpdate Method is executed the CurrentBar Property is 20 (in my example).

Is that observation correct or did I get it wrong?

Is there a NinjaTrader Property to get the first bar / first call?

The OnBarUpdate() method is not triggered until CurrentBar >= BarsRequired.
