Question about CalculationMode.Percent

What does the above statement do?

I think it tracks the amount of unrealized profit and if it falls to <= 50% of the total a stop order is issued?

Is that correct?

SetTrailStop() Generates a trail stop order that is submitted immediately to the market upon receiving an execution from an entry order. With your specific inputs SetTrailStop() is going to submit a trailing stop order for 50%

What specifically are you trying to accomplish?

I would like to set an unrealized profit target. Then when the target is hit set the trailing stop to exit if 50% of the unrealized profit is lost. So if I reach a target of $100, set a trailing stop at $50. Then move the trailing stop according to (highest unrealized profit * 0.50).
