    Hi, How would i set a lookback period in my condition?

    if (ADX(14)[0] > ADXlong [CurrentBar < 3])

    ive tried this but no joy and I cant find the correct solution

    Thanks for your post.

    One way to do a look back would be to use a C# for-loop, something like:

    [I]for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++)
    {
    if (ADX(14)[i] > ADXlong) // compare the last 3 bars ADX(14) to the ADXLong looking for a greater than condition.
    {
    // do something
    }
    }


    if you are only wanting to compare the last 3 bars of ADXLong to the current bar of ADX(14) then it would be this:

    [I]for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++)
    {
    if (ADX(14)[0] > ADXlong) // compare the last 3 bars of ADXLong looking for a greater than the current ADX14) value.

    // do something
    }
    }
