What signals is NT sending to C2?

    Collective2 signal (35630612) processed successfully: http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/...version=651006

    Collective2 signal (35630624) processed successfully: http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/...version=651006

This is a buy, then a sell, of 4 contracts of YM. The buy order was done by C2. The sell order was not. So this position has been open all day without me knowing it. Is it because you are sending a "STO" order when it should be a "STC"? The code simply issues a ExitLong("tag") command to exit the position.

    Thanks,
    Bryan

I'm sorry. Scratch that last quote of the C2 signals. This is the signal that I need to talk about:

    Collective2 signal (35631233) processed successfully: http://www.collective2.com/cgi-perl/...version=651006

OK, this signal was sent at 10:01. Here is the transaction in the NT log:

    7 YM 12-08 Sim101 SwingBreakouts Long 4 9653 9638 10/8/2008 10:00 10/8/2008 10:00 Breakout Long Sell -319 -396.5 19 300 0 0 1

You can see that this order was closed in NT, but the above signal was the only one sent to C2 regarding this order. So that's why there has been a position open all day... and the position was a long position too. I am totally confused as to what happened.

      Not sure I follow.

Signals are sent to C2 as either buy or sell on the fill of an order in NT. If for some reason the order sent to C2 failes (could not reach their servers) any further signals will not be submitted.

I got no error messages. Why was the Sell order sent, but not the buy order before that?

Please use TraceOrders = true as per this tip to debug what happened to your order in NinjaTrader: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/v...ead.php?t=3627

It may have been ignored or rejected or anything.

TraceOrders is always true, but I didn't have my Output window open... oh well. So I guess we'll never know.
