NT7 Multiple Strategies Order Handling

I want to run two strategies, one strategy is the base for the second strategy.

If the base strategy enters or exits an instrument I want the second strategy to perform a function after the entry or exit of the base strategy occured for the same instrument.

I want both of these strategies to be initialized in seperate accounts. For example one will be running in sim1 account while the other is in sim2.

Please help me understand how this can be performed.


Worth noting, I do not want to combine the strategies into the same strategy as the base strategy has logic that will be useless if that occurs.

Thank you for your note.

I would suggest using streamwriter to read and write to a text file.

An action happens, write that action to the file. Then have the other strategy check that file, and do action based on what's in the file.
