T3 Condition based on positive/negative slope

Hi all, this is my first post (I accidentally put it in the wrong place)!

I'm trying to make a strategy that involves the T3. I want to make a condition to enter into a long position when a number of conditions are met, but one I can't figure out is how to make one that involves the T3 when it's slope is positive. I.e. how do I tell the strategy builder to look for the T3 going positive?

And vice versa, when it's going negative, I want to enter a short position.

Any help you can send my way would be much appreciated!

Thank you for your note.

To use the slope you would select in the Misc folder >Slope, then for Series 1 you would select the T3 Indicator. Then you would use Greater for the operator, and on the other side select Misc>Numeric Value set to whatever you define a positive slope as. See screen shot.

You could write, if T3 Bars Ago 0 is greater than T3 Bars Ago 1. Meaning if the value on this bar is larger than the value of the last bar. This would mean the slope is positive. You could also do this consecutively, saying T3 Bars Ago 1 is greater than T3 Bars Ago 2, which would mean 3 higher bars.

After setting up either of above, you would next go to Actions>Add and select enter long or short.
